about

originally released as a split with lung cycles on lily tapes and discs in 2015

"OCOV's tape debut is a dense suite of sprawling field ambience and shapeshifting musings on drinking red wine in fish shacks on the Nova Scotian shore, sneaking a smoke under the full moon, and being held up under blurring lights. Recorded in an abandoned satellite station in Nova Scotia and then manipulated into their present form, these are songs that struggle to break free from their magnetic confines and fill the room."
